BoatingSideKicks.com is a Good Resource for Safe Boating

BoatingSideKicks.com is a safe boating kid’s site offered by the National Safe Boating Council. On the site kids can watch cartoons and videos that demonstrate safe boating and safe water practices. There are games and quizzes that make it fun. All types of watercraft safety are covered. The site is primarily geared toward younger children. We think children between the ages of 5 and 10 would like it. The graphics and music are very much for younger viewers, but older children could learn from the material.

Educators and parents may see it as a good resource to teach children. The quizzes are challenging and may actually stump some adults. Parents may want to view the videos with their child. There was one video with a dam that had what we think is debris floating around, but at times it almost appeared to be a person reaching out of the water.

The online store sells booklets, DVD’s, ball caps, coloring books and even tattoos for reasonable prices. Visit it at boatingsidekicks.com
